King Power has focused its research efforts on the development of synthetic natural gas.

KPC's natural gas can be produced with the quality and predictability of a manufactured product. Synthetic natural gas also can be used as a transportation fuel. Major car manufacturers, like Honda, already make vehicles that operate on natural gas.

There is an existing infrastructure in place for natural gas distribution. The natural gas manufactured is a carbon neutral fuel, and the carbon dioxide used in the manufacturing process can be acquired from carbon dioxide producing industries.

In the United States , there is a movement to provide tax incentives for industries that are able to capture and sequester carbon dioxide.
