Carbon Dioxide

King Power uses carbon dioxide to produce natural gas. The carbon dioxide can come from numerous sources, such as coal-fired electricity plants. There is no need to release carbon dioxide into the environment. We can add value to carbon dioxide by fusing it with hydrogen to produce methane.

We are positioning ourselves as the market leader of carbon credit trading in the United States. We anticipate that a cap and trade system of carbon dioxide emissions will be put into place in 2009. As a large user of carbon dioxide, we will lead the development of the market.

Carbon dioxide along with King Power Corporation technology can be a useful component to produce methane gas. In the business model that King Power Corporation envisions, it will simply be used over and over. Technologies of capture and release of CO2 are being developed and continue to evolve that will make synthetic natural gas a carbon neutral fuel and fit existing infrastructure. Synthetic natural gas with its superior energy density compared to hydrogen, can be used in internal combustion engines including diesels, with minimal change over costs. This strategy has the dual benefit of maintaining carbon balance along with improving air quality and providing an economical, domestic fuel source.
